IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR MONDAY'S CHIEF DAY
Attention Families of CURRENT 5TH GRADE STUDENTS:
Atención Familias de ESTUDIANTES ACTUALES DE QUINTO GRADO:
Our East Jay fifth graders learned the importance of philanthropy with the help of the Portland Foundation, through the Care and Share Project! Thanks to our amazing students, we raised $462 by selling tickets for a chance to challenge a staff member in a game of Pie Face, with the loser getting a pie in the face! 😂🥧 But the best part? With the Foundation's initial support, we're donating over $900 to the Jay Homeless Shelter! 🏠❤️ It's incredible to see our students learning about giving back while having a blast. Thank you to everyone involved!
Enjoy these pictures of all the fun!
Attention Parents of Students in Grades 5-11:
If your student plans to participate in sports next year (Grades 6-12), they will need a completed Sports Physical on file at the Jr/Sr High School. IU Health is offering Sports Physicals at no cost to your student. See the flyer for detailed instructions.

Londyn Cavanaugh Places 3rd in District Oratorical Contest
East Jay recently recognized their 3rd Nine Weeks Kindness Awards. These students are described as helpful, kind, hardworking, polite, positive, friendly, and considerate. They put others first, volunteer for projects, help without being asked, and make their peers feel valued and accepted. We are very proud of these young leaders!
