The recycling trailers are back at Bloomfield. Thanks for your patience during this summer. As a friendly reminder, please do not drop off recycling once school begins on August 10th between the hours of 7:15 am and 2:45 pm as to not interfere with school. Congratulations to Maria Laux who received a $1,500 Scholarship and Gabby Gibson who received a $200 Scholarship at the Indiana North District Level Optimist Speech Contest! What a great day to be a Bomber!

Congratulations to three Jay County Jr-Sr High School Seniors who will graduate with an Associates Degree from IVY Tech Community College. Raven Dale, Lauren Brewster and Thomas Charles were recognized by the IVY Tech Marion Campus Board on Tuesday. The following statement is from Dean Jetter, President of the John Jay Center Board of Trustees. "Three wonderful Jay County senior students were at the IVY Tech Marion Board meeting this morning. They shared how they have benefited from dual credits and what they hope to do in the future. They presented well. Thank you for the opportunities Jay County Schools gave to these three students. I was very proud to stand with them. "

April 4, 2023 Bomber Parents/Guardians, The time is upon us! Our students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 have been preparing for the ILEARN state assessment and it will begin on Monday April 17, 2023. Students are confident and ready to do their absolute best on this assessment! Just a reminder that that attendance is very important during this time: -The week of April 17th, we will plan to test on Monday -Thursday. -The week of April 24th, we will plan to test on Monday-Wednesday. -The week of May 1st (for Grades 4, 5, and 6 only) we plan to test Monday- Wednesday. All testing is planned for the morning. It is important to make sure that they are well rested, have the chromebook charged, and ready to get started right away in the morning after Breakfast in the Classroom concludes.
