West Jay Elementary

Yesterday the staff and students gathered at the end of the day to thank Mrs. Kathy Nelson for doing such a fantastic job of filling in as music teacher for the first semester of the 2022-2023 school year.  During this time Mrs. Nelson not only subbed and taught music to the students of West Jay Elementary, she also did a magnificent job of helping to put together a wonderful Christmas program for the first, second, and third grade students and their families.   During the impromptu ceremony last evening Mrs. Nelson was given a West Jay Eagle shirt and a special painting with the thumb print of every WJE student.  During this time she was also named as an Honorary West Jay Eagle and given a standing ovation. Thank you for everything you have done for WJE Mrs. Nelson!!!!
