All K-6 schools including Preschool at the Shanks and West Jay sites will be in-person for 9.24.24 and will resume classes as scheduled. This will continue to be in person as these sites were not impacted by the tornado and internet and phone service has been restored.
Redkey will continue with Hawaiian/Tourist Day OR if you choose, it can be pajama day.(tennis shoes required)
This evening, Jay County Jr-Sr High was impacted by a tornado and sustained significant damage in a portion of the building. There have been no reports of injuries associated with this incident. As a result, the Jay School Corporation will be closed tomorrow, September 23rd, 2024, (no eLearning / Remote Learning).
We are currently conducting a thorough assessment of the site with local emergency management officials. We will provide an update tomorrow afternoon.

2 - For Cash, check or money order please use the paper order form that was sent home three weeks ago with your student.

This is a reminder that there is a scheduled 2 hour delay for Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Students should arrive between 9:40-9:55 am at school on Wednesday. Latchkey services are available if needed. Breakfast does not occur on 2 hour delays.
