Parents are reminded that Monday, January 16th is a Built-in Snow Day. This means that if there are no school cancellations this week, there will be no school on Monday.
Due to the changes in state law, the Jay School Corporation has one remaining eLearning Day. This leaves us one remaining Built-in Snow Day and one eLearning Day. After that, Remote Learning will take place when school is canceled. For more information on Remote Learning, please visit

Redkey Elementary PTO will be hosting a cookies and paintbrushes event on Thursday, January 26 at 6:00 pm. This event is open to all children. Adults must be present during the event. Reservations and payment are due Thursday, January 12. Checks can be made out to Redkey Elementary PTO.

Delta Theta Tau recently donated funds to Redkey Elementary PTO
Thanks to a generous donation from Peyton's, Debi Gillespie, Wade Kohler, and the Cruisn' HoliJay Lights Committee, the Redkey PTO was able to pass out a squishmallow to every Redkey student today!
Please keep the squishmallows at home. Any student that was absent today will have one when they return to school. (Items were sent home today to leave room in backpacks for classroom party goodies tomorrow!)

General Store shopping lists were sent home today. Please return the lists along with any money in the baggie that was sent home. Thanks in advance for limiting the amount of money sent to allow for all students to get a chance to shop. For now, each item will be $1.00.
