Redkey Elementary

Mrs. LouAnn Zimmerman has been visiting Mrs. Evans' class in the library once a month to share 'Ag in the classroom'. This month they learned all about soybeans. They are wearing their soy-beanie babies, using their body heat to start the process of turning the soybean into a plant.  Each student received a goodie bag from the Indiana Soybean Alliance filled with many items made from soybeans: toys, paint, lip balm, books printed with ink from the bean.  Mrs. Zimmerman reminded the students to thank a soybean farmer!
