Given the Winter Weather Advisory, Jay Schools will be on a 2 hour delay for Tuesday, January 26, 2021. This will give everyone time to prepare and we will see what comes by the morning. 

Yesterday marked the start of our 8th Grade Pre College and Career tours of the High School CTE courses. The opportunities that our HS has to offer our students is astounding. Shout out to our teachers for putting together this tour for our 8th Grade students that way they can see all of the career pathways they can begin thinking about as they approach Freshman year. PRESS RELEASE The Jay County High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) competed recently in the regional competition against 8 other high schools. We are proud to announce, the following students have qualified to advance to the state competition in early March: Trevor Alicea and Hannah Littler (Video Production Team) Samuel Bracy (4th Place, Advanced Accounting) Isaac Braun (Python Programming) Madison Brunswick (5th Place, Fundamental Accounting) Dylan Burress (Python Programming) Ralyn Chaffins (Alternate for Interview Skills) Travis Garringer (4thPlace, Business Law & Ethics) Grace Morgan (1st Place, Payroll Accounting and 3rd Place Advanced Accounting) Marissa Overla (2nd Place, Advanced Accounting and Python Programming) Additional students will have the option of competing in Open Competitions at the state as well. To Jay County Jr-Sr High School parents and guardians The decision has been made to move Jay School Corporation to an e-learning day today. Teachers will not be meeting live with classes as they did during the Remote Learning days after Thanksgiving Break. Your teachers will have your assignments uploaded into Google Classroom by 10 am this morning. They will be available for students from 9 am - 3 pm. In concert with the Jay County Health Department, we have determined that Jay County Jr-Sr High School will return to in-person instruction on Monday, December 7th.

A reminder to everyone that we will begin our planned weekly 2 Hour Delay on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, to provide teachers additional time to prepare and plan instruction and support for students. This delay will apply to our elementary students (K-6). Jay County Jr-Sr High will follow their Remote Learning Schedule this Wednesday (7-12).
