Welcome Jack! Today was Jack's first day on the job. Jack graduated from "Dog School" last week in Georgia and is now officially our newest staff member. The kids liked seeing Jack in the schools today. Jack is assigned to our SRO and, in addition to being very friendly, can detect firearms and track missing persons.

Attention Parents of Current 5th Grade Students--Please get your child's routine vaccines updated over the summer. State Law requires that these are completed before their first day of 6th Grade.

End of the Year Fun!
Student's in Mrs. May's 4th grade class at East Jay celebrated the end of state testing with a Camp-In. They all made their own cozy campsite area and spent the day reading. Of course, S'mores were on the menu!

Thank you to our Lunch Heroes !

Thank you, Principal Tomano and Assistant Principal Berno!

We hope you had a wonderful week!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we place students in classes, remember we do our best to consider parent requests. However, student assignment is based on class size and academic need considerations for all children in the school. Our capacity to balance classes and properly align resources is significantly impacted by teacher requests. Please visit the link at the bottom of this letter to complete a request form. (We have sent an electronic message in Skyward, with the link, as well.) One form will need to be completed for each student.
The purpose of this form is to help us better manage teacher requests. If you feel that you would like to request a teacher for your son/daughter, for the 2022-2023 school year, this form must be completed by May 1, 2022. No teacher requests will be accepted via email, written letters, or phone calls. All requests must be completed, in this form. If you have already submitted a written request, you will need to complete this form. If internet access is unavailable to you, please come to the school, and a computer will be provided for you to complete this form. Teacher requests for the 22-23 school year will not be accepted or changed, after May 1, 2022.
Please note that by completing the form, we are not guaranteeing that your child will have their requested teacher. Failure to select three different choices, will make your request form invalid.
6th Grade students will have a departmentalized schedule, where students will have all teachers.
Please visit the link below to complete the request form.
