Miss Heyne's 5th grade science class has been super busy this winter. Students teamed up to craft their own solar system models, complete with all 8 planets, the asteroid belt, and more! They collaborated to choose colors and materials that accurately represent each celestial body, considering their sizes and order in the solar system. Then came the ooey gooey fun! Classes recently dove into the mesmerizing world of Oobleck! This non-Newtonian fluid defies expectations, behaving like both a solid and a liquid depending on how it's handled. 💧✨ Students made predictions, shared observations, and explored the fascinating properties of solids and liquids together. 🧪📚
