Thanks to Bettie Jacobs and the Jay County Solid Waste Management District for an amazing presentation last week! Bloomfield Kindergarteners and 1st Graders learned about the importance of Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle. They made musical instruments with reused materials and had a blast!

Congratulations to Anna Fisher who had an outstanding speech today at the District Level Competition in Kokomo. She is one of the runner ups and was awarded $200! What a good day to be a Bomber!

Our students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 have been preparing for the ILEARN state assessment and it will begin on Monday April 15, 2024. Students are confident and ready to do their absolute best on this assessment!
Just a reminder that that attendance is very important during this time:
The week of April 15th, we will plan to test on Monday -Thursday.
The week of April 22nd, we will plan to test on Monday-Wednesday.
The week of April 29nd (for Grades 4, 5, and 6 only) we plan to test Monday- Wednesday.
Most testing is planned for the morning. The Bloomfield PTO will be providing snacks after each testing day!
It is important to make sure that they are well rested, have the chromebook charged, and ready to get started right away in the morning after Breakfast in the Classroom concludes.

The county-wide Optimist Oratorical Speech Contest contest will be Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 6:30 pm at The Jay Christian Academy. We cheer on Anna Fisher and Adalee Rigby, who will be Bloomfield’s representatives this year. Many thanks to those that chose to participate.
